Covers are gorgeous, Grace I like to work an animal into my stories if I can – usually a dog.

It’s very cold here, we’re in our third winter without central heating (a long story I won’t bore you with!) and I’m longing for some sunshine.

Hello Grace,

Having spent much of my early life in ancient Church of Ireland rectories, I find the story of your life very interesting. At present I am doing some research involving the Rev W R F Manning who was your father’s immediate predecessor at Ballyorgan. Do you know of any of his descendants who would not mind being approached? I note you had a message from a grandson three years ago, but the name Smith is difficult to trace!

nd this ages ago but old age has its demerits.
My mother (Steepe) came from Ballyorgan and I spent many a happy holiday with cousin in Glenosheen(Billy Steepe) who would have knowledge of your father,s incumbentcy. He had preserved Kilflynn Church for posterityas it closedfor worship some years ago. He has also got families to erect headstones to record their families history. The church is open to visitors and funds are raied for its upkeep. I always regretted leaving Glenosheen as it and its area is a peaceful niche in a dubious world,

I am a forty eight year old woman who loves books and I have read zillions in my life. My husband has never heard me laugh out loud as much or cried as I read “Ready or not”. It was a fabulous read and I am now an avid fan of yours. So sad when the book ended but ready for the next one. Wonderful and beautifully written.-
